Some places are built. Others are remembered and then carefully brought back to life. For more than a hundred and fifty years, this was a farm house held by the same family through generations. A house shaped by the land around it: granite walls, ancient beams, and the constant, quiet presence of the nature.

Today, the farm house has been reimagined as a boutique home. Surrounded by the green, terraced landscape of Portugal's UNESCO-classified Douro Valley, and just over forty-five minutes from Porto, Quinta da Lameirinha is a private countryside retreat in Baião, at the gateway to the Douro.
